Right, eyes down - fat bloke, blue suit, no.24 VDG 748S = WHITE AND GREEN 1978 OTHER W EUROPEAN OTHER MOTORCYCLE (very helpful .... but eventually ....) Registration number: VDG 748S ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 25 June 1984 MOT No details held by DVLA Vehicle make :OSSA Date of first registration :26 April 1978 Year of manufacture :1978 Cylinder capacity (cc) :310cc Vehicle status : Not taxed Vehicle colour :WHITE Plus another same/similar - it's crossing in front of main picture of fat bloke/blue suit/no.24, so is a second example. But I don't think it crops up again. Passing thought - why are so many trails bike makers Spanish?? Ossa, and Montesa (then Bultaco) developed in the Barcelona area (the oldest industrial part of the kingdom, aside Basque country), building relatively cheap and above all local (national) motorcycles in a market made for them (pre- and post-war Spain, for Ossa and Montesa, and Derbi or Sanglas, with rather low income in the families, meant that people in need of transportation would first envision the purchase of a bike). Engineering being what it is, Ossa, Derbi, Montesa (and Bultaco too, when thy broke from was Montesa) were very early involved in racing, in their categories, with succes coming pretty soon, on road (Ossa's Herrero, Derbi's Nieto) and on dirt. When the competition with Japanese became too uneven, they concentrate in a niche, trial, where their engines and frames did many wonders. The three brands attracted the best trial riders of the time (I regret to have to say they were British), fed up with their 4-stroke engines. And that is how they built international fame. For a while.

Blue one with different number of exhausts on each side - fairly sure it's the same bike as part of same footage. It's a Suzuki for me. Probably a ca.1975 GT 380. A-hem, a 1977 GT 550 would fit too. My sound advice: wait for a better informed proposition. (But Suzuki + GT are very probable.) ... Me again: http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Suzuki_GT380 http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Suzuki_GT550 browse and elect the One (too tired to do it myself, sorry, dsl).

It's in the UK and wearing L plates so it's a 250.

If it's NVT, it's a 2nd example with box on the rear.

Self-contained sequence on teaching braking techniques. Could easily be the same as one of the other blue bikes. Blue colour and wire wheels means probably an RD 250 from about 1977. RD 250 C from the brake caliper

Tail section behind the seat, D model.

Ridden by no35 who is character in film. Has 350 badge and silver paint on triangle frame It could be the same as this one with silver paint on triangle frame in first few seconds - however the silver (or white?) tank flash has little stripes here, so either same bike with different patterns on each side, or 2 (similar?) Bultacos. And to confuse things further, there's another one on another page (with red paint on triangle frame) - different bike but might be same type ......

Registration number: UGW 981S ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 01 August 1987 MOT No details held by DVLA Vehicle make :MZ Date of first registration :10 August 1977 Year of manufacture :1977 Cylinder capacity (cc) :49cc Vehicle status : Not taxed Vehicle colour :RED Simson S51 was sold in UK under MZ brand. Seen again at 10-40 Sous quelle référence? Es ist ein Simson S 50! Kein S 51.
