The Dukes of Hazzard
Kawasaki KZ1000C1 Police Episode: 1.09
Kawasaki Police 1000 (1978) It has older generation engine. Model is KZ1000C1 or C1A. Should we use "KZ1000" as model name, or "Police 1000" then? It was named 'Police 1000' from this '78 model. I think (example : Kawasaki Police 1000 (1978) [KZ1000C1]) is better. Sorry to have imposed time and effort on correction. But if database becomes more exact, I think that it is good. (I have to learn more for exact identify ) OK Thanks for all the info that you provide for all these bikes

Yamaha IT175I Episode: 4.02
The 1974+ Opel 1900 Wagon should be listed, too, as it's a real rarity. I am surprised you don't have the show Ingo , you would surelly have spoted it and submit it yourself a so "car centric" show wil never exist again unfortunatly Naah, I even haven't watched it, when it was aired in the 80ies. It was too dull and boring, the always same chases along the always same roads with the always same stupid cops. the scripts were bad, even the actors said this but come on this days you don't get a single decent car chase in a TV show because they probably can't afford it while in Dukes you always had 3-4 per episode in that spectacular drift style Pffhhh, ... "spectacular drift" ... - every moron can make that with a RWD-car on gravel or dusty ground they made a lot of chases on asphalt too not just gravel and I think you forget most of those cars didn't have power steering you can see the stuntmen really have to work those big steering wheels like on the Charger Power steerng was standart equipment on most of US cars since 50s.

Yamaha YZ490 Episode: 6.07
same bike I guess from 4.18 Yamaha 175 ou 250 YZ, quant à : Maico ?
They are Yamahas, and definitely different than 4.18. Notice the Monoshock setup vs the twin shocks in 4.18. Double leading shoe on the front brake, and still air cooled. Side plastics are '82 and later, as is the Monoshock setup. Has to be a YZ490, as the 250 was water cooled by '82. Exhaust was run to the right side by '84, so I'm saying '82-83 Yamaha YZ490, which is why both Duke boys look like they are about to crash. That bike was a killer. I wonder who started the bikes for them...
