BMW R75/6 Episode: 1.08

BMW R75/6 00:10:15 background vehicle

The BMW Police bike on the right. R75/6 (1973-76) This CV carburetor was used for R75/6 & R90/6 & UK police equipped R75/6 at that time.

Yamaha XS400 Episode: 2.01

Yamaha XS400 00:22:14 main character Yamaha XS400 wiki

XS 400. Engine size...... 392cc, so is that XS400? The vehicle details for RGH 149V are: Date of Liability 01 03 1995 Date of First Registration 03 07 1980 Year of Manufacture 1980 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 392CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour BLUE Vehicle Type Approval Yes... For me (Moto-Revue Salon 10/78): 398cc (maybe a typo...), 34hp, two cylinder, six gears... thank you

This bike and sidecar are now in Basildon, Essex. A friend of mine bought it at a charity auction, where the BBC sold off some of the shows props, I bought it from him a couple of years later. one day I will get it back on the road!

I bet it's too expensive for me

Kawasaki ZR1100A Zephyr Episode: 4.03

Kawasaki ZR1100A Zephyr 00:33:28 chase

Kawasaki KZ1000, late seventies -round mirrors, bullet gauge pods, square cam tower caps.

Bien!

Moto Guzzi V75 Episode: 5.06

Moto Guzzi V75 00:17:19 background vehicle Moto Guzzi V75 wiki

Could this be right? Agree with jplemoine .... the V75 it is in fact a rare bird ... even in Italy nowadays ... In addition to the "known" electrical quality problems and 16" handling, the V75 had - like the V35 Imola II and the V65 Lario - a 4-valve per cylinder layout, which gave a lot - I mean a LOT - of serious problems due to the poor quality of the materials employed (valves dropping inside the cylinder, etc.) Pity, because a bike so light and balanced rides great when tuned 'right' Compliments for the great find!

The v75 is a very good bike, i have onees and i use it every day.
