They attempted to take the bike apart with no success on reparing it

Conical hub , black bash plate , orange colour and possible rh gearchange makes me think this is a Triumph Trailblazer 250 from 1972. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPO9jht5Jxg In fact certain this is a Triumph Trail Blazer T25T 1971/72 as can see spindly left hand brake lever and key ring in ignition under tank !.
