Surprised to see here two Ducatis. UK produced enough similar bikes in the sixties... Yes but their small bikes were all outdated rubbish , BSA Bantam , Francis Barnett Plover, BSA Beagle etc hence Japanese invasion with high quality small bikes that sold like hot cakes from the Honda 50 upwards. Then later they started selling high quality big bikes ................
Built from 1965-1971. Also, its the first one of its kind on this site.

BSA ? Because of the dropped bars it might be a DBD34 Gold Star but I don't think we will ever be sure of it as there is not enough visible. Maybe a Rocket Gold Star Yes I would say definetly a BSA DBD34 as 500cc and may still be with us - The vehicle details for 174 NPH are: Date of First Registration 23 06 1978 Year of Manufacture 1960 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 499cc CO₂ Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status SORN in place Vehicle Colour BLACK Vehicle Type Approval Not Available Vehicle Excise Duty rate for vehicle 6 Months Rate 12 Months Rate
