Yamaha XJ650 in Movies
The Yamaha XJ650 is a in-line four, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 1980 and 1984. It could reach a top speed of 197.0 km/h (122.4 mph)
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 63.0 x 52.4 mm (2.5 x 2.1 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 653.00 ccm (39.85 cubic inches). The engine features a 9.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 120/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The XJ650 is fitted with a 20.50 litres (5.42 gallons) fuel tank.

One of the four cylinder Seca models but which one?
YAMAHA XJ650 MAXIM 1980-'81 Maxim 650 above - 1982-'83 on the right The XJ650 Seca and Maxim shared many components, most notably the motor. Since the subject bike has high handlebars and the rider is sitting bolt upright, it's very likely to be the Maxim cruiser version since the Seca, a more sporty bike, had lower handlebars and the rider leaned forward somewhat. I believe this to be the 650cc version of the Maxim since it's the only model with both a circular headlight AND front flashers attached to the lower triple clamp (the Seca 650's flashers were mounted above the lower triple clamp and the triple clamp cover was black, not chrome and it didn't say "YAMAHA"). 650 Maxim's were produced between 1980 and 1983. I believe this bike to be either an '82 or '83 model because of the black-painted valve covers and cylinders and the unpainted head (the head and the rest of the motor were not painted black as it was on the Seca).

CQFD!

Yamaha Maxim, most likely an XJ650 as 550's had a more stepped seat and this bike is only single disc, 750 & up were twin disc.
Yamaha? XJ 400/550?
650, 400/550 had indicators mounted on the headlamp brackets, look closely you can just make out the shaft drive bevel housing.

Some bike fan can choose, H84 YRB is registered as a 1991 Kawasaki but the silver bike (badged 650) is more visible. Maybe 1982. Not shure if it is called also Yamaha XJ 650 Turbo...
The big Kawasaki is a Z 1300, the Yam is an ordinary XJ 650.
