Engine
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 58.5 x 55.7 mm (2.3 x 2.2 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 599.00 ccm (36.55 cubic inches). The engine features a 10.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis
It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 110/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The XJ600 is fitted with a 20.00 litres (5.28 gallons) fuel tank.

I don't think it's a ducati...maybe a japanese bike The tubular frame of the ducati monster is bigger than this... also the mirrors and the front suspension are different ??Suzuki bandit 400?? If it's a Ducati, it's a Monster, probably 600 as I don't see the second disc brake on the front wheel. Mmm. Suzuki GSF600N Bandit I say. Possibly with aftermarket pipe. 400 may be good shout though.
