It's a 600. The 350 had different look and airscoops built into the tank design.

Yamaha XT250 or 350 (1984-) by side cover http://w1.bikepics.com/pics/2005/04/22/bikepics-337639-800.jpg Actually, I believe that was a TT600.I don't see the XT airscoops, and the swingarm is thicker and appears to look more like the extruded aluminum at the time instead of the steel XT250/350 swingarm. i agree modified TT600.
