Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, two-stroke. A 56.4 x 50.0 mm (2.2 x 2.0 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 250.00 ccm (15.26 cubic inches). The engine features a 5.9:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a membrane & power valve.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 120/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The TDR250 is fitted with a 14.00 litres (3.70 gallons) fuel tank.
