The Yamaha RX125 is a single cylinder, two-stroke classic motorcycle produced between 1979 and 1979.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 56.0 x 50.0 mm (2.2 x 2.0 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 125.00 ccm (7.63 cubic inches). The engine features a 6.9:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 3/0-18 front tire and a 3/0-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks while the rear was equiped with a swing arm twin shocks The RX125 is fitted with a 10.00 litres (2.64 gallons) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 96.0 kg (211.6 pounds). The wheelbase is 1,240 mm (48.8 inches) long.
