Yamaha RS100 in Movies
The Yamaha RS100 is a single cylinder, two-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1975 and 1981. It could reach a top speed of 105.0 km/h (65.2 mph)
The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 52.0 x 45.6 mm (2.0 x 1.8 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 97.00 ccm (5.92 cubic inches). The engine features a 7.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a membrane.
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 3.00-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The RS100 is fitted with a 9.00 litres (2.38 gallons) fuel tank.
The script on the front reads "RS" which corresponds to Yamaha: It looks like the 100 has this front end exclusively. Anyone object? I've found a few Chinese clones of it, but they all had slight differences, and it says "RS" anyways.
