Yamaha RD400 in Movies

The Yamaha RD400 is a twin, two-stroke classic motorcycle produced between 1978 and 1979. It could reach a top speed of 175.0 km/h (108.7 mph)


The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 64.0 x 62.0 mm (2.5 x 2.4 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 399.00 ccm (24.35 cubic inches). The engine features a 6.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a membrane.


The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.


It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The RD400 is fitted with a 16.50 litres (4.36 gallons) fuel tank.
