The Yamaha FZ6 is a in-line four, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2005 and 2010.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 65.5 x 44.5 mm (2.6 x 1.8 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 600.00 ccm (36.61 cubic inches). The engine features a 12.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm telescopic fork, 5.1-in travel while the rear was equiped with a single shock The FZ6 is fitted with a 19.30 litres (5.10 gallons) fuel tank. The wheelbase is 1,440 mm (56.7 inches) long.
