Velocette Venom in Movies

The Velocette Venom is a single cylinder, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1955 and 1969.


The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 86.0 x 86.0 mm (3.4 x 3.4 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 499.00 ccm (30.45 cubic inches). Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).


The final drive was via chain.


Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a swingarm with coil-over shocks The wheelbase is 1,391 mm (54.8 inches) long.
