The engine was a air cooled two cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 78.0 x 78.0 mm (3.1 x 3.1 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 745.00 ccm (45.46 cubic inches).


The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).


Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a leading link forks with hydraulic spring shock while the rear was equiped with a double sided swinging arm with hydraulic spring shock absorbers - The T is fitted with a 19.00 litres (5.02 gallons) fuel tank.
