Triumph 6T in Movies
How We Used to Live
For either bike, depending which is easier/more interesting. The black one is onscreen in several shots, but this is only view. The bike in the left background is a 1957 or later Triumph - from the 'mouth organ' tank badge. It has a 'pre unit' engine so could be a 1959 Thunderbird because that year's model was in dark colours. Do we want these as "Thunderbird [6T]" or "6T Thunderbird"?? We have both formats running, with a lonely 6T Saint in there as well. I would go with Thunderbird as model name and 6T as 'chassis'. I just searched a few '6T Thunderbirds' and this one - /vehicle_801902-Triumph-6T-Thunderbird.html - which is quite recent, I wonder how it can be distinguished from a Speed Twin. All that batch now changed to Thunderbird [6T], so we have a single referencing.

The Avengers EP: 6.08
Ep.6.08 "Mission...Highly Improbable" Triumph Triumph Saint. Not sure of the exact year but the twin front downtube frame and pre unit construction engine suggest about 1962. Triumph 6T Thunderbird from between '57 and '62 1960 was the first year with the twin front down tube frame.
Early 61 plate.
Bunny Lake Is Missing
Triumph Speed Twin??? Could be that postwar series nicknamed as "Bathtub"for the shape of sides-back wheel fairing-fender compo??? A 2. Picture from this bike you can find: /vehicle_69924-Austin-A60-Cambridge-1963.html 1958-1963 Triumph. The radio and deep rear mudguard suggests a real ex police bike. Surrey registration. Late 1960 plate - xxx PPL in the A60 photo.
6T Thunderbird Saint
Trois enfants... dans le désordre
It has the pre 1957 style tank badge. Probably a Thunderbird?
I'll go with that, it's gotta be 55 or 56 for the swinging arm?

Just came across a photo which identifies the bike as belonging to Keenan Wynn.
I Spy EP: 2.01
Bonneville pre 1966 I don't think we can be sure it is a Bonneville. In fact it has the headlight nacelle which leads me to suspect it is a Speedtwin or Thunderbird.
As it is black I think this is a 1966 Thunderbird - the last year for this model.
triumph? I agree. 1957-65 tank badge by this picture. Being police bikes I presume 650s - Tiger 110 or maybe Saint? umm...may be Saint, but not sure...
1964 would be a 6T Thunderbird, the TR6P Trophy Saint wasn't introduced until '67.
Our Mother's House
Probably a 6T Thunderbird Saint /vehicle_399493-Triumph-1960.html From The Avengers, pre-respray /vehicle_259219-Triumph-Thunderbird-1960.html
I was trying to decide between 1959 and 1963. Can't see whether it is unit construction. Looks to have the fuller front fender. Not 100% sure.

Dark Skies EP: 1.04
Triumph - because it has a rigid rear end it is probably a 5T from the late 1940s. This is a 6t thunderbird. My father built it for me 20 years ago when I was 17 years old. It's still in my garage. Easy to mistake for a 5t with the red paint job.
1951, custom though.
Snoken EP: 3.01
pub for the Triumph T110 Thunderbird mid fifties: the best motorcycle of the world!
Villains EP: 1.06
Triumph reg. no. 779ALH Also seen in Avengers without fairing etc - /vehicle_283833-Triumph-6T-Thunderbird-1957.html so 6T Thunderbird ?
Early 61 plate.
Give up! It seems 1957-65 model from the tank emblem. Front fender is not original (from other Triumph model) and engine is not visible. Sorry..there's no real side views in the movie ..always front ..or slight angle.! Thanks, leave it as U.F.O. Tiger T 110, en dotation police (1954) These are Police bikes from the 1960s. 6T Thunderbirds and police Saints keot the nacelle until 1966.
Does [6T] apply to Saints?? Open question, but this is the only Saint which has been designated 6T.
Der letzte Bulle EP: 5.04
Single carb , TR6 ? 6T Thunderbird i'll let the bike specialists deal with that one..
Pre-unit motor so pre 63.
The Wild One
Moto différente de celle utilisée par Marlon Brando (Cette dernière possède des sacoches)
definately Triumph's Toujours pas identifiée? JP, Jun ...mais qu'est ce que vous f... About right one. It 'may be' '60- police model 5T... (I remember another same one exist in unknown marsh. Triumph of that years have deep fender but this fender is not match) Truimph on the left is possibly TR6P, and the right, with the shrouded forks the Saint...??
The bike with shrouded forks is a 6T Thunderbird.
Funny Car Summer
Circa 1950 Triumph Thunderbird. I agree, 1950-1954 Tunderbird I would like to point out the 1949+ Crosley [CD] on the right. I'm not sure if it's a sedan or a convertible, though. http://oldcarandtruckpictures.com/Crosley/1949CrosleyConvertible-a.jpg
6T probably c/w original sprung hub, although rider's leg in the way. I'd say well spotted Crosley by Tim, even if the car doesn't qualify for its own page here.
The Crown EP: 2.07
642 KMV, '57 Triumph 650, can't see enough to determine if T-Bird, Trophy or T110. Googling "triumph 642kmv" comes up with a few 650 Thunderbird references and possible pictures of a blue similar, but can't see a definite naming.
It has a headlamp nacelle which rules out TR6 Trophy, we have to call it something and my vote is 6T T-bird.
