I think it is a Kawasaki Z1000 because it has four into two exhaust system - http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/kawasaki/kawasaki_z1000%2076.htm - although the side covers and tail piece do not match this pic - maybe the one in my link is US spec and this one here is Euro spec. This isn't a Kawasaki. This is a 1976 Suzuki GS 750. http://www.suzukicycles.org/GS-series/GS750.shtml
Et, ici, une paire de Honda 750 F1, des vraies, cette fois-ci!

Non. C'est pas une GS 500. 550 à la limite, mais plutôt 750. Voire éventuellement 1000..

SUZUKI GSX 750 L [GS75X-L] GS 750 L (8 valves, the GSX 750 L has 16 valves)
yes, i thought it is 16 valves, by square camshaft covers, while 8 valves would have circular ones, aren't they square?

Looks like the Acropolis rally. Anything else for the bikes? A glimpse of the motor would help. 1980 Suzuki GS 750?? (I thought I remembered us having some Greek police bikes, but no idea of what they might have been. So the Made-For-GR button was vital for retrieving them. And an example of one of my soapboxes that we could/should use Made-Fors more flexibly so that moments like this can happen ....)
I'm happy with GS750, like the GT 2 strokes, the GS police bikes were known as Patroller in certain markets.
Kiss Daddy Goodbye
Kawasaki. KZ 750 LTD? Or a Suzuki GS 750 L? Possible, à bien y regarder... MES LUNETTES! Ich verstehe kein Wort!
@banditboris: jplemoine hatte seine Brille nicht auf.
Suzuki GS (750?) Un bitza, c'est sûr. Base 750 GSX 1979...
750 GSX with the older 2-valve engine? you are sure?
Die Braut von der Tankstelle
The oil barrel behind it was origin from Castrol, the door behind that is from a BMW. E12 as a first guess.
that would fit with Castrol sign and BMW hood, he carries around as a running gag
Suzuki 1000 GS? La forme des compteurs ne colle pas avec l'habituelle Kawa. Or maybe a Honda?? They did a police version of the medium size four (650?) at one time. Id go with GS750/1000 at a guess...pipes look more Suzuki than Honda...Brakes look GS too.. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/submittedphotos/1977SuzukiGS750-SveinH-A.jpg 1976 Suzuki GS 750 Link to "www.motorrad-bild.de"

The Baader Meinhof Complex
The real bike was a brand new red 1977 Suzuki GS 750. M'enfin, là, ça ressemble plus à une Kawasaki...
They've certainly got a Suzuki GS, 550 or 750,, lets go for 750 to maintain some semblance of historical accuracy.

Looks like a GS750 with the wrong front end, forks & brake are off a GT era bike.
would agree: GS 750 with tiny fork Link to "www.motorradonline.de"
