The Kawasaki ZZR1200 is a in-line four, four-stroke sport touring motorcycle produced between 2004 and 2005.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 79.0 x 59.4 mm (3.1 x 2.3 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 1160.00 ccm (70.78 cubic inches). The engine features a 10.6:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a cartridge-style fork with preload adjustment while the rear was equiped with a uni-trak® system with remote reservoir shock with preload adjustment The ZZR1200 is fitted with a 23.08 litres (6.10 gallons) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 235.9 kg (520.0 pounds). The wheelbase is 1,506 mm (59.3 inches) long.
