The Kawasaki KX250 is a single cylinder, four-stroke cross / motocross motorcycle produced between 1990 and 2019.


The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 77.0 x 53.6 mm (3.0 x 2.1 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 249.00 ccm (15.19 cubic inches). The engine features a 13.4:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).


The final drive was via chain.


It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 100/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a inverted telescopic separate function front fork (sff) type 2, 22-way compression damping, 20-way rebound damping and 40-way spring preload adustability while the rear was equiped with a uni-trak with adjustable dual-range (2 turns high speed / 19-way low-speed) compression damping, adjustable 22-way rebound damping and fully adjustable spring preload The KX250 is fitted with a 6.30 litres (1.66 gallons) fuel tank. The wheelbase is 1,478 mm (58.2 inches) long.
