The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 53.0 x 44.0 mm (2.1 x 1.7 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 97.00 ccm (5.92 cubic inches). The engine features a 7.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a port control.
