Honda XL600 in Movies
Knight Rider EP: 3.03
This seems to be a 600R and not a 500.. /images/007/348.jpg
i think the XL250RFVC shown as the smaler skidplate.
Honda 600 XLR, devant une Dnepr (ou Ural, ou chaipaquoi...)
i think motor is not big enough for a 600/500 .more like the 250RFVC.
La caja 507
Honda XL (1986) Honda XL 600L (1986) Honda XL 500R Paris-Dakar http://www.motogadgets.nl/motoren/xl.jpg This seems to be a XL 125/200 Paris-Dakar
i agree 125/200 Dakar.
L'imperatore di Roma
I think that will be a Honda XL 600,but it is is too far away to tell for sure .
Observe and Report
In the thumbnail, there's a Volkswagen New Beetle Turbo S Would it be possible to get a listing for the New Beetle Turbo S? It is a somewhat rare car.
I'll check if there is a better view of it.
Gloria i Iliya Zagorov: Rak i Skorpion
Transalp XL600V , early model . A fine bike, had one for 13 years and wished I had not sold it
Les oubliées EP: 3
Honda XL 650 V Transalp (PD06) XL600V , I had one identical .
Yes, of course: 600. Sorry
1983 Honda XL600
Someone? '83- Honda XL600R (I found there are holes on the side of underguard...too late ) i think in this picture shown XR250L .but there sometimes in the first minutes of the movie and the bike Van Damme rides are the XR650L.
The Karate Kid
Honda 250 ou 400 XLS... I could not get a frame where I could discern the first number before the two zeroes. I think it may be 600R like the one in Back to the Future /vehicle_7348-Honda-XL-600-R-1984.html . i agree XL250R. Bike is a Honda XL500R. I want to say 1982 is the year...but could be wrong.
'82 was the only year for the 500R
Tatort - Blutdiamanten
1986 Honda XL600
Honda XL600R ('86- by brake disk hole pattern) http://w1.bikepics.com/pics/2006/09/05/bikepics-672253-800.jpg
1993 Honda XL600
Honda 600 Transalp (1987)
If my eyes don't deceive me I see a rear disc brake, which suggest a post-1991 model. 'Golden' rims were available until 1996 and to me it looks like it already has the revised (post-1993) headlight fairing. My guess is at least a '93 TA. Full model name is Honda XL600V Transalp. Great bike
Back to the Future
1984 Honda XL600
Argh !! It's not a Yamaha !!! It's a Honda. We can see this golden wing on the tank.
Correct model definition should be XL 600 RF (bike category first ) I think it is the XL 600 RD 83' I think US model is called simply XL600R, and year is '84. Identify point is the decal of "600R" on the side-cover. '83 is plain white, '84 is like this picture.
Die Schwarzwaldklinik EP: 2.18
1987 Honda XL600
XL600V Transalp, don't know what year.
Episode aired February 1988, so likely filmed in '87 - aka the year the XL600 was released. Introduced October 86 in Japan and February 87 in the West, so enough time for buying one: http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gallery/Honda%20XL600V%2087%20%202.jpg
MacGyver EP: 3.01
1987 Honda XL600
Honda Transalp 600 Yes, 1987 Honda XL 600 V Transalp.
In my opinion this picture should be listed along with these others: /vehicles.php?make=Honda&model=Transalp&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on /vehicles.php?make=Honda&model=XL+600+V+Transalp&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=on They are all XL 600 V Transalp, doesn't exist XL 600 V without Transalp, and doesn't exist Trans-Alp.
Bird on a Wire
1983 Honda XL600
Honda 600 XLR (1983) Yes, though correct model name is XL 600 R I believe the red engine/silver frame/white-blue plastics combination was marketed after 1986, about golden vs. silver rims/forks it tends to get confusing, but allow at least for one year before the latter, so at least 1987. I believe this model was updated in 1989 (black engine, different decals on fuel tank).
