Engine
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0 x 69.0 mm (3.5 x 2.7 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 839.30 ccm (51.21 cubic inches). The engine features a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive
The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis
It came with a 120/70-16 front tire and a 160/60-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a double disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic fork, 41mm while the rear was equiped with a hydraulic monoshock with aluminium alloy swingarm The GP800 is fitted with a 18.50 litres (4.89 gallons) fuel tank.
