The BMW R1200R is a twin, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 2007 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 200.0 km/h (124.3 mph)


The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 101.0 x 73.0 mm (4.0 x 2.9 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 1170.00 ccm (71.39 cubic inches). The engine features a 12.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).


The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).


It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down telescopic fork. diameter 45 mm, silver-anodized while the rear was equiped with a cast aluminium single-sided swing-arm with bmw motorrad paralever; wad travel-related damping strut, spring pre-load steplessly and hydraulically adjustable via handwheel, adjustable rebound damping The R1200R is fitted with a 18.00 litres (4.76 gallons) fuel tank. The wheelbase is 1,515 mm (59.6 inches) long.
