The BMW R1100RS is a two cylinder boxer, four-stroke sport touring motorcycle produced between 1993 and 2001. It could reach a top speed of 226.0 km/h (140.4 mph)


The engine was a air cooled two cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 99.0 x 70.5 mm (3.9 x 2.8 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 1085.00 ccm (66.21 cubic inches).


The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).


It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 160/60-zr18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The R1100RS is fitted with a 23.00 litres (6.08 gallons) fuel tank. The wheelbase is 1,473 mm (58.0 inches) long.
