Engine
The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer, pushrod operated 2 valves per cylinder.. A 82 x 70.6 mm stroke result in a displacement of just 745 cc / 45.5 cu in.. The engine features a 9.0:1 compression ratio.
Chassis
It came with a 3.25 - S19 front tire and a 4.00 - S18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single ∅260mm disc, 1 piston caliper in the front and a Single ∅200mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic hydraulic forks while the rear was equiped with a Long swinging arm with adjustable strut. 125mm wheel travel The R 75/7 is fitted with a 24 Litres / 6.3 US gal fuel tank.
