The BMW K1300S is a in-line four, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2009 and 2016.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 80.0 x 64.3 mm (3.1 x 2.5 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 1293.00 ccm (78.90 cubic inches). The engine features a 13.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 190/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a bmw motorrad duolever, central spring strut while the rear was equiped with a cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with bmw motorrad paralever The K1300S is fitted with a 19.00 litres (5.02 gallons) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 228.0 kg (502.7 pounds). The wheelbase is 1,585 mm (62.4 inches) long.
