BMW K1200R in Movies

The BMW K1200R is a in-line four, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2005 and 2008.


The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 79.0 x 59.0 mm (3.1 x 2.3 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 1157.00 ccm (70.60 cubic inches). The engine features a 13.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).


The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).


It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. optional abs in the front and a single disc. optional abs in the rear. The front suspension was a bmw motorrad duolever while the rear was equiped with a cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with bmw motorrad paralever The K1200R is fitted with a 19.00 litres (5.02 gallons) fuel tank. The bike weighs just 211.0 kg (465.2 pounds). The wheelbase is 1,580 mm (62.2 inches) long.
