Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 67.0 x 70.0 mm (2.6 x 2.8 inches) stroke result in a displacement of just 987.00 ccm (60.23 cubic inches). The engine features a 10.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 130/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The K100RT is fitted with a 22.00 litres (5.81 gallons) fuel tank.
